breaking the law

no, he's neither another tourist, nor did he just buy that bike from a junky or is tryin to sell it. and even though he is standing at amsterdam's most well-known spot to buy a bike illegaly, dressed like this he could propably sell bikes by the dozen without ever being suspected by the police, which, since a few months, bust bikedeals here on a regular basis

not all tourists in amsterdam just block the streets with their rented bikes, gazing stoned at the next coffeeshop's menue.
a lot of them contribute a great deal to the international flavor of amsterdam, bringing their individual styles from all over the world to the tiny streets and pittoresque canals.
this is hopefully the start of a series of pictures of styletourists that i find inspiring

hunting for the clash

i'm sorry for not really updating my blog in such a long time, i finally got a better camera and now it seems i don't know how to use it. (with the fisheye-lens it's much easier to create interesting pics -> see previous post) also the constant heavy rain in 2008's amsterdam so far kept me from asking people to stop and pose for my little blog. no excuse, i know, have fun..
